Community life
Wellness World for Kids is an educational program that introduces children to the core principles of a healthy lifestyle in a fun, accessible way. Through themed stations, interactive games, and practical activities, kids learn about proper nutrition, exercise, water, and rest.

Journey to Bethlehem is an interactive experience immersing visitors in the biblical story of Jesus Christ's birth. Co-hosted at South Hill SDA Church in early December, participants explore themed locations. Our community actively supports this by providing Russian-speaking guides, actors, and choir performances.

Journey to the Cross is a large-scale Easter event at Valley SDA Church, vividly depicting the final days of Jesus Christ. Visitors walk through thematic scenes leading to the Resurrection. We support this event by offering Russian-speaking guides, lead actors, and inspiring choir performances.

During the holiday season, our church choir hosts musical concerts for locals and visitors at venues like the Downtown Spokane Mall. These performances feature spiritual and Christmas classics celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, accompanied by the sharing of uplifting spiritual literature.

What day and time do your services take place?
Our main services are held every Saturday. At [Time], we gather for small-group Bible study and fellowship (Sabbath School), and at [Time], our main worship service begins. You are welcome to join us for either part, or spend the whole Saturday with us!
I’m not an Adventist (and rarely go to church). Can I still come?
Of course! Our church is called "Open Book" precisely because we are open to everyone. People from all walks of life and at different stages of their spiritual journey come to us, and we are truly glad to welcome absolutely everyone. No special background, knowledge, or documents are required.
What is the dress code for your services?
We don’t have a strict dress code. Most of our attendees choose a neat, comfortable style (casual or smart-casual). The most important thing is that you feel comfortable. For women, head coverings or scarves are not required.
Can I bring my kids, and will they enjoy it?
Yes, we love families! During our Saturday meetings, we offer separate interactive programs for children of various ages. Under the care of friendly leaders, kids get to hang out, play games, and learn Bible stories in a fun, age-appropriate way.
How is your church different from other Christian churches?
We are part of the worldwide Protestant Christian church. We build our faith solely on the Bible, believe in the soon Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and, following God's commandments, we celebrate Saturday (the Sabbath) as a day blessed for rest and fellowship with Him.
Is there any cost to attend?
No, absolutely all of our services and meetings are free. During the service, there is a voluntary collection of tithes and offerings, but this is strictly a personal decision made by our regular members. There is absolutely no expectation for guests to give.
